Risk Management

In 2025, the Company maintained a centralized enterprise risk register, reviewed quarterly with the senior leadership team to assess changes in risk exposure, mitigation effectiveness, and action progress.

The board of directors also reviews the Company’s top ten risks to support effective oversight.

In 2026, Wesdome is expanding this approach to include site-level risk registers at each operation, supported by quarterly review processes and the implementation of a dedicated risk management platform.

This enhancement is intended to strengthen consistency, improve visibility of operational risks, and enable more proactive and integrated risk management across the business.

All identified risks have avoidance or mitigation actions assigned, which are owned by a specific site department or manager, or by a member of our corporate team, depending on the action.

Major projects typically have a working group and/or a steering committee to facilitate implementation, manage the project budget, and oversee risk management.

Our senior leadership team and board of directors review and discuss updates to the risk register each quarter.

We also disclose risk factors that could materially affect our business, operations, financial condition, or the value of our securities in our Annual Information Form, available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR+.
