Wesdome’s Management Standards establish consistent, Company-wide requirements for managing key environmental, social, health and safety risks and responsibilities. The Standards support the implementation of our policies and Sustainability Management System by defining minimum requirements, roles and accountabilities, and supporting regulatory compliance, responsible practices and continuous improvement.
Since 2020, our ESG reports have been aligned with the Sustainability Accounting Standard Board (SASB) reporting framework and outline our progress towards implementing the recommendations of the Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Wesdome uses recognized sustainability and responsible mining frameworks to guide our approach, assess performance and support continuous improvement. These frameworks help us manage environmental, social, health and safety matters and align our practices with established industry expectations, including the Mining Association of Canada’s Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) initiative.
Annually, we prepare and submit a Company-wide report prepared in accordance with Natural Resources Canada’s Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (ESTMA). Our ESTMA report outlines all payments the Company makes to governments, including Indigenous governments that meet the reporting threshold.
